1. Controller

2. Scope

This privacy policy applies to the marketing website move-easy.app including the waitlist form. It does not apply to the MoveEasy app, which is covered by its own privacy policy (currently available in German only).

3. Visiting the website (server logs)

When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically processes technical data transmitted by your browser:

• IP address
• Date and time of the request
• Requested URL and HTTP status code
• User agent (browser and operating system identifier)
• Referrer URL (if transmitted)

This data is processed solely for the provision, stability and security of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functional web presence). The data is not combined with other data and is not used for profiling.

4. Waitlist sign-up

If you sign up for the waitlist, we process the following data:

• Email address — to send the confirmation email (double opt-in), to notify you when the app launches and for occasional news and offers about MoveEasy.
• Sign-up and confirmation timestamps — to determine your position on the waitlist and as a record of your consent.
• Confirmation token — to verify your email address.
• Unsubscribe token — so you can opt out via the link in every email without providing any further details.
• Version of the consent wording — so we can demonstrate what you agreed to (Art. 7(1) GDPR).
• Link to a Premium code — if you are among the first 250 confirmations.

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, granted by confirming your email address. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future — via the unsubscribe link in every email or informally at kontakt@move-easy.app. On withdrawal we delete your waitlist entry entirely.

5. Retention period

Confirmed entries are stored until you unsubscribe or the waitlist is discontinued. If you sign up but never confirm your address, we delete the entry automatically 30 days after sign-up. Server logs are automatically deleted or anonymised after no more than 14 days.

So that nothing is lost after a technical incident, we back up the database daily in encrypted form; in addition, our hosting provider backs up the server daily (Art. 32(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). Once we delete your entry it is gone from live operation immediately, but it remains in older backups for up to 30 days until they expire as scheduled. We do not analyse backups; they serve solely for restoration.

6. Recipients and processors

We use the following processors. Data processing agreements (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place with all of them:

• Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) — Hosting of the website via Cloudflare Pages as well as DDoS protection and content delivery. Delivery is primarily routed via EU edge locations. Logs are retained short-term for attack mitigation.
• Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany) — Hosting of the MoveEasy backend including the database for waitlist entries. Data is stored exclusively on servers in Germany.
• Brevo SAS (106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France) — Delivery of the double-opt-in confirmation email and later launch notifications. Processing takes place within the European Union.
• Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) (San Francisco, USA) — Recording of technical errors in the backend. If an error occurs while you sign up for the waitlist, the error report may contain your IP address; email addresses and request contents are removed before sending. Stored in the EU (Frankfurt). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in error-free operation).

No further data is passed on to third parties.

7. Transfers to third countries

The controller (FLP Digital Technologies LLC) is based in the United States. Cloudflare, Inc. and Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) are also processors with corporate headquarters in the USA. Accordingly, personal data may be transferred to a third country within the meaning of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.

The following safeguards are in place:

• Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR are concluded with Cloudflare.
• Sentry is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR); the Standard Contractual Clauses in its data processing agreement apply in addition. Error reports are stored in the EU.
• Storage of waitlist data takes place exclusively on servers in Germany (Hetzner).
• Delivery of confirmation emails takes place entirely within the EU (Brevo France).

An adequate level of data protection within the meaning of Art. 45 GDPR for the USA exists only for recipients certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Despite the safeguards, access by US authorities at the corporate level cannot be entirely excluded.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights vis-à-vis the controller:

• Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
• Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
• Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
• Right to withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

9. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is that of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.

10. No cookies, no tracking

This website does not use tracking cookies, web analytics tools or third-party advertising services. No profiling takes place. Functional cookies are only set if you actively trigger a feature that requires them — which is currently not the case on this marketing website.

11. Updates to this policy

This privacy policy may be adapted if legislation changes or processing activities are updated. The current version is available at move-easy.app/en/privacy.
